Legium
Paper, screen or web. It's in your library
Legium keeps the passages and notes you want to hold on to, whether they come from a photographed page, a screenshot, a web article or your own typing. Each one stays with its source, and you can find it again by its words or by what it was about.
Where a note comes from
A page in a book
Photograph the page and draw over the lines you want. Legium reads the text on your phone, and you correct anything it got wrong.
A screenshot
Highlight in your reading app and take a screenshot. Legium keeps the highlighted lines, together or as separate passages.
A web page
Select the text in Safari and share it to Legium. The passage arrives with the page's title, author and address.
Typed, pasted or imported
Type or paste a passage, or import a book's highlights from the notebook file your e-reader app exports. Add a note of your own under any of them.
Keeping them in order
Sources
Every passage stays with its book, article or poem, with the author, translator and page. Open a source to see everything you kept from it.
Tags
Tag a passage, or tag a book once and every passage from it carries the tag. Star the tags you use most.
Search
Search by the words you remember, or by what the passage was about when you remember none of them. Search runs on your phone.
Yours
Your library syncs between your iPhone and iPad through your own iCloud and exports to one file. Legium has no accounts and no analytics.
